My thoughts:

I think the campus ITS would be well served to assess the usage and desire for technology apps by students AND faculty at Colby. We are currently just served by what seems to be expedient and easy to deliver. Mobile technologies would work more efficiently if there were more licenses/seats  and networked access to various specialized software for specific subjects. For example, there are only a couple of network licenses to Photoshop. Art students can't get access to it where they need it, in the ART/MUSIC Apple computer lab in the library. Labs are still necessary for particular subject applications, e.g. audio editing, photo editing, where the instructors are.
